Jang-Gun - Korean Restaurant

Lately I was  invited  to Open Rice Makan Venture at Jang-Gun Korean Restaurant which is located in Fahrenheit, Jalan Bukit Bintang. This is my first time joining them as a member in the Open Rice.

On that day, I reach there just before 7.00pm and spoke to some of the organizers for this event. I didn't know that I was among the few new members who are the lucky ones to be chosen for the food review :o)

Let me start showing you all some of the photos I took in Jang-Gun Restaurant.

An area was cordoned for OpenRice Members

The chefs who work behind this kitchen.

Colourful sweet desserts

Varieties pot of soup served e.g. Seaweed Soup, Buddha Jump Over The Wall, Tom Yam Soup and etc.
Fresh seafood for stir fried or boiled.

Some condiments that you can choose for the chef to do tepanyaki for you.

The Chef in Action.

This is my favorite counter, varieties of sushis and sashimi, fresh and succulent.

Plate of sushis and sashimi. Love the textures and the freshness of it.

These are the food that I have tried at the Fried Counters. I find that the batter is too much and pretty difficult to chew on it as is too hard. Some are the cod fish head, shishamo, shiitake mushrooms, soft shell crab and Korean glass noodle (can't remember the name for it)

Plenty of condiments in the Buddha Jump Over The Wall soup. Scallop, Mushrooms, Sea Cucumber and Abalone.

The organizers have started by introducing to us the management members and chefs in Jang-Gun. One of the chefs where a Korean chef who has created some of the delicious and various Korean foods on the menu list.  The organizers played some games with the members on the new product that they will be launching soon in their Saisaki and Shogun (Express) outlets which is called Squeeze-It.  It is a form of frozen ice-creams with 100% original flavors from fruit extracts which originates from Hokkaido, Japan.

This is a process of massaging the ball of frozen ice-cream. This would allow the flow of ice-cream to squeeze out according to the speed.  How do you eat it? Firstly, we will need to cut off the tip of the frozen ball of ice-cream and it will keep on squeezing out. Then, You will need to suck it continuously till the last burst of the frosty ice-cream. Truly a fun and interesting way of eating this Squeeze-It.

You can try squeezing it out the frosty ice-cream by twisting it to form a mountain on top of the ball.

A closing speech given by the founder, Dato' Seri Michael Chong.

AUPRES by Shiseido - Mini Facial

Lately, I bought the Malaysian Women's Weekly magazine for the May issue and I came across with some freebie included for readers to try out. One of it is the AUPRES by Shiseido which they are giving out free 20 minute mini facial and skin care samples. It does attract me as the Shiseido counter is located in KLCC and is within my office vicinity. Hence, I decided to take a train to KLCC to grab hold of a short quick facial spa from Shiseido.

AUPRES Premium is the Shiseido new range of skincare - Cell Renewing Cream

It was the lunch hour rush and without wasting my time, I head out to the Shiseido counter located in Parkson departmental store. I was greeted by a young guy who's Shiseido products consultant and he explains to me the range of products on the counter. He asks which of the range that I would like to choose for my mini facial spa and I have chosen the AUPRES Premium just like what it was advertised in the magazine.

He started to cleanse my face with cleansing milk and water before he can perform the facial spa on my face. Thereafter, he uses the AUSPRES Cell Renewing Lotion I to massage it on my face evenly.

AUPRES Premium - Cell Renewing Cream

This is how they actually perform the mini facial spa using a handheld machine and slowly massaging it onto my skin. Towards the end, I have a chance to try out some of their make-up products e.g. Liquid Foundation, Blusher and Lipstick (didn't snap any photo of these). I was also given some free samples of the AUPRES Premium Cells Renewing for me to try out. Loving it!

New beginning of Cheesehero33 blog!

Finally, I have created a blog of mine!

I have been longing to create my own blog for so long but never really sat down and do it. Is always a pleasure going to the other bloggers site page to read all about the latest update related to shopping, beauty products/new launch products, food reviews and etc. Fun and interesting how all the bloggers enjoying all this blogging stuff, e.g. @plussizekitten.com (one of my favourite blogger), famous Singapore blogger www.xiaxue.blogspot.com, www.timothytiah.com (Nuffnang co-founder) and etc. . It's never too late to get my blog up and running. Not so sure how many followers and readers will be dropping by to my page  but hopefully not too long to get to know all of them as a friend.

I'm planning to blog whatever came to my mind and things that interest me. Personally I like to eat and hunt down for food around KL. Guess many of the bloggers have covered most of the favourite hotspot for "makan" around Klang Valley, Selangor and all other states in West Peninsular Malaysia.

For a start, let me share some of the photos of these foods which I had previously.

All the side dishes are refillable and the one that I like most is the kimchi (fermented cabbage) which I have it refilled twice.

Colourful Korean dishes and one of it is the Bibimbap. Hot grilled bowl and you can still have the food fuming hot till the last bite. Not forgetting the grilled ox tongue filled with fragrant bbq juicy taste.

Korean pan cake

Believe me, food is one of my favorite topic in my blog and I will update it with photos here as and when.

Stay tuned!
